So I got my handy-dandy little cotton passport today: 
And I proceeded to match a Nemesis Grey swatch I had from a list member. What I did was take photos with the iPhone and use the iPhone App to get some starting colours, then looked them up in the PANTONE Cotton Passport, and then matched to the colours and candidate colours around them until I got a pretty spot on match choice for each item using real fabric.
