So... being in command of a group of low-budget Trek fans, I had to come up with something more affordable than custom made uniforms... and better looking than the cheap licensed reproductions that Paramount has tended to authorize in the past.
To that end, I went hunting, high and low, for shirts in the right colors. And in just about every shirt design I found I could find either the correct color of red... or the correct color of yellow gold... but not both. The shades of blue were usually slightly off as well, but often close enough for the purposes of a low-budget chapter uniform...
And then I saw the custom chapter commbadges here, and the embroidered shirts shown in images alongside people wearing said combadges... that got me in contact with that ship's CO... who got me in contact with his supplier for the shirts with embroidery. They then supplied me with the name of the manufacturer of the shirt and they style number.
And with that information I was able to find a supplier online who would sell any quantity of the shirt without embroidery... and at 30% off MSRP.
