Hey Brian. Ive been trying to hear from John in general, but nothing so far. I can tell you that I passed on his info to Fabric Hut about their carrying the fabric. No word from them as of yet other than that minimum order HWC requires may prohibit Fabric Hut from doing business with them. Hope to have an update in a few weeks. However, remember that Rodd.Com will be carrying the TWOK and NEM elastique. Theye are concentrating on TOS first but will carry the TWOK/NEM as well. Steve

OK been over a year since we have heard of anything about this fabric...Any news about this?? I never in my life seen a hard to find fabric in my life lol

The fabric is out there Zip. What I've found is not 100% wool but a wool/poly blend. The company that has it can dye it any colour and does not require a huge minimum order (about 700 yds). I'll have an announcement about this and TOS fabric as soon as the prinicipals involved have a "meeting of the minds". Otherwise as John (NavMdn) has stopped appearing on the boards, I'm guessing this deal he was working on has long fizzled. The company he was considering also just had the wool elas in a blend, but they require a big minimum as I recall. Steve

I have a professional uniform producer investigating for me. I sent a good swatch of material from the inside seam of one of my TWOK jackets and they have been
on the lookout. They found one source, but the source would require $60k upfront and would make about 4000yards for us.... I'm a few dollars short of that
right now, but the uniform company is searching some of the smaller suppliers who may require less quantity to be ordered.
I'll let you know when something pops up. I am also working with this uniform company as a consultant in their project to make very, very accurate reproductions of the TWOK jackets. They have sent me some samples of some of their work and they are a professional uniform manufacturer... hopefully we wil lget something soon. I'll keep you guys informed of any potential dealings.
