Hi Kenny! Welcome to the SF1701st!
Yes, the TWOK is the most liked Trek uni out there. If you're making it your first try, be wary that it entails a lot of handwork. As you've likely seen the efforts of Chris, Gordo, Rumbeard and others, you should have enough to go by in making yours. And just holla if you have questions or need help. Do review all the appropriate posts that can help and will likely have the answers to most your questions.
Welcome, and have fun!

Ain't nuthin to it. A suitweight (or heavier) wool gab will work as an alternative. However, dyeing may likely be a necessity. The elusive aspect so far is getting a good dye formulae for the jacket. Jim Brooks has a formulae in his manual. I asked him if it was authentic or one he created. So far he hasn't responded and has stopped responding altogether. That may be the answer to my question. Do you have experience with dyeing or know someone who does?
The original TWOK jacket colour is what I call "flat red". For the later TWOK era movies, they used a brighter colour, what I call a "berry red" or maybe "black cherry".

Hi David, and welcome to the SF1701st! And yes, you can also buy Anovos products via other venues...when they're available.
The Kelvin uni is jumbo/super/heavy spandex (like the TNG jumpers). If you review our "Links" page, there are several links to spandex specialty retailers, that offer a wife range of colours.
The belt buckle is available at Tandy Leathercraft. You will be the first I know of to tackle that uni! Please post your build process!

Salut, Louis! Welcome to the SF1701st! As you've likely checked out the TNG forum, is there anything specifically you need help with? If so, just post in that forum and we'll glad to help!
Are you going for the jumper or 2-piece?
